Salut! 👋

I’m Alexandru, but you can call me Andu (pronounced as undo). I’m an engineer who’s led teams and still likes to build things; I spent the last decade at BENlabs, going from developer to Senior Director of Engineering and back to building hands-on.

These days I’m working on a problem that’s been haunting me for a long time: capturing what I find interesting and surfacing it again at the right time. That’s taken me from binaries running on e-ink hardware to web and desktop apps, with AI doing real work in the product, not just in my editor.

Right now I’m between roles, looking for a senior IC or engineering leadership role; what I’m up to lately is on the now page.
